We have an exciting opportunity open for a Senior Financial Systems and Reporting Analyst based in either of our Ft. Smith or Little Rock offices, or with the ability to work remote from any of the following states : AR, LA, MO, OK, or TX.

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting and will partner with Operational Accounting, FP&A, Financial Reporting, and Treasury to ensure the integrity of financial information across transaction and reporting applications.

Primary duties include preparing, reviewing, and managing the distribution of financial reports, maintaining data mappings between the transaction ledgers and the reporting application, modifying reporting templates, and creating ad-hoc reports.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, and statement of equity) for multiple entities
  • Interpret financial statements and ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Serve as system administrator for consolidation application
  • Ownership of key controls surrounding the integrity of financial reporting
  • Prepare and test functionality of consolidation application during implementation
  • Coordinate mappings between consolidation application and reporting software
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as necessary

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or higher in accounting required
  • Minimum four years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, or FP&A
  • CPA certification
  • Working knowledge of intercompany eliminations and full consolidation principles
  • Understanding of financial controls pertaining to accounting and financial reporting
  • Heavy experience with Oracle SmartView using FCCS or PBCS
  • Previous experience implementing consolidation / reporting applications a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Desire to engage in problem-solving and solution development surrounding financial systems and processes
  • Competence in ensuring data integrity across applications through creation and execution of internal controls
  • Experience with mapping of interfaces between transactional and reporting applications
  • Ability to interpret journal entries and the impact on the financial line items within income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Effective communication, skilled at interfacing with company leadership in presenting monthly results
  • Willingness to take initiative to meet deadlines with overtime as required
  • Maintain end-user documentation and conduct training as needed
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP FICO experience desired
