About The Position
Job Title : Operating Room Technician Job Specialty : None Job Duration : 26 weeks Shift : 12 hours, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : 2+ years required License : Active Virginia License required Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association), CST Must-Have : Active Virginia License at the time of application submission Job Description : Robotics experience is preferred.
- Handle various types of surgical cases including Ortho, Neuro, Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Spine, Podiatry, Thoracic, Breast.
- Floating to GI / Endo is required. Common GI cases : Upper Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, PEG Placement.- Work in a unit with 9 suites, managing 25-35 cases per day.
- Use EPIC EMR system; scrubs are provided by the hospital.- Complete unit-specific orientation, typically 1 week (2 weeks for night shift).
- Overnight and weekend on-call duties include 5-6 call shifts.- Holiday duties are on-call only if they fall within the contract time frame.
