About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1652 To $1835Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM);
Day 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience : Minimum of 2 years in PICU required License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license Certifications : BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have : - ECMO and CRRT experience preferred - Must accommodate holiday rotation and every other weekend work requirement - Flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs Job Description : - Provide intensive and intermediate care to children ages 0-18.
- Care for patients with medical and surgical diagnoses, including respiratory compromise, trauma, and neurology / neurosurgery patients.
- Deliver ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO / CRRT, renal or peritoneal dialysis, and additional complex supportive therapies.
- Collaborate with a team including Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Secretaries, with support from therapeutic services such as Respiratory Therapy, Pediatric Dietitians, and Pediatric Pharmacists.
- Accommodate block schedules with manager’s approval based on unit needs. - Respond to emergency situations as needed, especially during hurricane season.
- Complete non-billable modules as part of orientation. - Follow established unit guidelines for requested time off.
