Salary Range : BR / hour - BR / hour (based on education and experience)

BR shift and weekend differential)

Relocation Allowance : Up to BR,000 (will be discussed further during interview)

Permanent Placement Fee : 18%

The MRI technologist performs MRI procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service.

The technologist effectively operates MRI equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department and the Imaging Center).

The technologist explains procedures to the patient, answers questions for the patient, and ensures patient comfort. Regarding patient safety, the technologist will use proper positioning with the appropriate coil and research implanted devices as needed.

The technologist adjusts equipment controls to set protocol factors based on knowledge of the procedure and established guidelines.

The technologist assists the Radiologist, when necessary. The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Program - Required
  • BLS Certification - Required
  • 1 year of hospital experience - Preferred
  • Registered or registry eligible American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance (MR) Certification - Required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (R) credential - Preferred
  • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) Radiologic Technologist (LRT) licensure - Preferred
