The Opportunity :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Data Scientist whowill lead our research initiatives and drive data science projects.
You will establish a methodology that bridges our data infrastructure with computational outputs, aimed at enhancing Advertiser's return on investment (ROI) for media campaigns with LG Ads.
We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in research methodologies, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization within the Ad Tech domain.
What You'll Do :
- Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
- Define, understand, and test opportunities to improve our product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations
- Apply machine learning techniques to business problems at the intersection of product and data science
- Build an analytical framework to facilitate product strategies and business prioritizations
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into scalable products
- Present your research and insights to all levels of the company and cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, engineering, operations, and customer success teams
- Drive innovation by exploring new data sources, technologies, and methodologies
What We're Looking For :
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in analytics and data science functions, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams to drive revenue
- Experience working in linear and digital advertising in Ad Tech
- Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
