Job Title : Customer Service Representative
Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a courteous and timely manner.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or team lead.
- Process orders, applications, or account updates accurately.
- Track customer interactions and update CRM systems with detailed notes.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their concerns have been fully addressed.
- Handle and manage returns, exchanges, or refunds in line with company policy.
- Contribute to team goals by meeting individual and departmental performance metrics.
- Identify trends in customer interactions and provide feedback to help improve products and services.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
