Northwest Equine Veterinary Associates is a % ambulatory equine veterinary practice in search of a Veterinary Assistant for a busy multi-doctor practice.
Job Qualifications :
- Experienced horse handling skills (required) including trotting, lunging and safe handling of horses under sedation, with applicable reference.
- Flexible working hours, including evening and weekend on-call rotation.
- Self motivated.
- Ability to follow instruction and work under pressure in a team environment.
- Dependable transportation and valid Washington State driver’s license.
- Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills, ability to learn new software programs.
- Strong attention to grammar and spelling.
- Prior experience in veterinary medicine desirable, but not required.
The base hourly range for this position is $18 - $20. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location.
