As an Inventory Control Specialist at CSafe, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory of parts for our production team and service center operations.
First Shift Schedule : Monday - Thursday 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (overtime worked on Fridays as needed)
Responsibilities :
Analyzes workflows required to maintain inventory accuracy of all materials used in the production or maintenance of units.
Implements process improvements to reduce inefficiencies and enhance parts organization.
- Maintains high level of housekeeping, organization, and identification and FIFO of all related storage areas.
- Conducts frequent cycle counts and assists with identification of root causes and corrective actions when physical counts do not match system quantities.
- Reports any low inventory to ensure stock-out situations are avoided. Ensure any damaged parts are properly accounted for.
- Assists with annual physical inventory audits and serves as area owner for all warehouse locations where parts are stored.
- Handling and organizing materials with the use of forklift, carts and by-hand frequently.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
Qualifications :
- High school education or GED equivalent is required.
- Forklift operator training and certification required.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Possess excellent forklift maneuverability skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications and proficient keyboarding skills.
- Must be able to locate, identify and physically move parts or various sizes.
