Your Profile
- Bachelor's Degree or Certification preferred
- Knowledge of related computer applications and reporting tools
- Familiar with all freight forwarding procedures, products, regulations, and departments
- 2-5 years of Industry related experience required
- Proven Sales and Business selling ability and success
Your Duties
- Develop new and prospective customers while maintaining existing accounts
- Assist Vice President of Sales and Branch Managers in the preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQs, and quotations with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents
- Coordinate and attend sales visits both in the USA and with overseas partners for aiding business development if applicable
- Compliance with all regulations prescribed by USA Customers / IATA / TSA / FMC and other governing bodies
- Ensure that any client entertainment activities are carried out in a professional and responsible manner to ensure the continuing good name of Gebrüder Weiss USA
- Ensure customer requests related to commercial activities are completed in a timely manner at the highest service level
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
- Update and maintain all relevant information about customers and sales activities on CRM
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills if applicable
- Fulfill all identified responsibilities consistently with minimal supervision required
- Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively through speech, writing, and professional presentation in order to deliver successful business results
- Display good interdepartmental relationships and ensure customers, suppliers, and overseas agents' needs are a primary function of one's actions and decisions
- Apply different techniques to sell Gebrüder Weiss USA services within the marketplace and be comfortable with pursuing leads and new contacts
- Understanding of key financial principles that reflect and drive profitability, and ensure the department achieves its financial and quality objectives
- Set and meet Sales goals and objectives in accordance with company guidelines and key performance areas and agreed key performance indicators (sales calls, visits, and new business)
