About The Position
Job Title : Staff Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Extended Recovery Job Duration : 14 Weeks Shift : Schedule will mainly be 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM, but could vary sometimes to 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM;
Potentially float to other units Guaranteed Hours : 40.00 Hours per Week Experience : Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment License : Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications : - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire Must-Have : - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred- Non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program Job Description : Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for identified patient groups in an inpatient environment- Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to primarily adult populations- Utilize skills as outlined in the ANA Nursing : Scope and Standards of Practice- Engage in a mix of acute care and outpatient recovery- Exhibit clinical competence and experience specific to the job requirements- Participate in continuous professional development and education programs- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulationsThis job is a travel nursing opportunity within the clinical nursing category.
