Overview :
Wellhart is partnering with a hospital in Ohio to staff a locum tenens Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner. This role offers a mix of OR and inpatient work.
Job Details :
- First-assist in surgeries (80-90% of work)
- Perform conduit harvesting using Maquet Vasoview HemoPro 2
- Handle inpatient rounding and consults (10-20% of work)
- Place arterial and venous lines
- Remove chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs
Requirements :
- Active Ohio APRN license
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience
- Comfort with OR first-assist role
