Job Details :

• Coverage : Ongoing
• Specialty : MD / DO Urology
• How many days / month? Approximately 15-20 days per month
• Schedule : 24hr ED call
• Setting : Acute Care Hospital - Critical Care Unit
• Duties : Will mostly be nephrology consults (inpatient and outpatient), rounding in the ICU, with occasional admissions through the Emergency Dept.

Our intensivists can manage acute nephrology issues in the ICU, but need subspecialty assistance to manage patients with advanced kidney disease in the ICU

• EMR : Cerner
• Support Staff : None - APPs are employed by the contracted contracted critical care group. These APPs do not support the nephrologists.
• Travel Preferences : Preferred Lodging : Preferred hotel; Sheraton is one of them (please call to negotiate a rate for around $150-175 / night) must still follow Travel Policy and GSA guidelines Air Travel : Local, no flights?

Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations.

Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation.

• Credentialing Information : 60-90 days from receipt of fully completed application
• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No
• Admissions per day : Patients / day / Types of cases : Candidates should expect to spend 1-4 hours of onsite / call back time participating in ICU rounds.

The patient census is highly variable, as there will be days when there are no patients under the service, and days when there are several.

Patients admitted to the ICU are under the care of our intensivists. The intensivists and hospitalists will manage acute renal care, however, they will defer to the nephrologists to assist in management of inpatients whose comorbidities include chronic renal disease.

Our ED physicians will also consult with nephrologists to manage patients with renal injuries and / or renal disease

Requirements :

• Active Unrestricted CA License
• Board Certification / Board Eligible
• Residency Requirements / Fellowship Nephrology Fellowship required
• Other Certifications DEA required during credentialing
• Malpractice Clean Highly Preferred Availability at time of name clear Required

Job Details :

• Coverage : Ongoing
• Specialty : MD / DO OB-GYN
• Position Open : 1
• Setting : Small rural facility with level one nursery.
• Available rooms consist of 1 triage room, 2 labor rooms, 1 c-section suite, and 6 postpartum rooms
• EMR : Epic
• Support Staff : Anesthesia staff, Certified Nurse Midwife, experienced labor and delivery staff nurses (experience ranges from 5-27 years)
• Credentialing Information : 2 months but can be expedited to meet start date
• Must be able to demonstrate that he or she has performed at least 100 deliveries in the past 24 months and at least 50 major gynecological surgical procedures in the past 24 months
• Credentialing with other facilities? No
• Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? No
• Admissions per day : Varies- average 18-20 deliveries per month
• Patients / day : Varies- average 45 triage patients per month
• Types of cases : Triage of patients; 20 weeks gestation with OB complaint. Deliveries both vaginal and cesarean. GYN cases who present to ED.

Requirements :

• Active Unrestricted KY License - Highly Preferred
• Board Certification Will accept truly BE within 5 years of training,
• will consider IMLC LOQ
• Residency Requirements / Fellowship Required.
• Must complete a residency training program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or its equivalent in obstetrics at a minimum
• Malpractice Clean Preferred
• Availability at time of name clear Required
• Other Certifications DEA and BLS / ACLS. Will need BLS but may be required to have higher certifications based on requested privileges.

I.E - ACLS at a minimum if requesting Moderate Sedation.
