Job Summary
Provides personal care and health related services according to a written service plan. Acts as group leader and county facilitator.
Job Requirements
Education
Required : Completion of Advanced Personal Care course.
Experience
Required : Six months experience as an In-Home Aide.
Skills
Requires outgoing, detail oriented person with a positive attitude.
Ability to read, write, follow directions and perform duties with minimum supervision.
Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families and coworkers and exhibit an empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly.
Provision of reliable transportation and a working telephone as required by nature of position.
Requires two weekend shifts to be scheduled for every four (4) week period, and availability of a minimum of 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Required : Advanced Personal Care (APC) certified.
Required : Active Driver's License
