• Department : Interventional Radiology
• Schedule : Day shift : FT, Monday-Friday, 7a-330p or 8a-430p.
• 4 -10 hour shift may be available, 630a-5p
• On call required, average rotation 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks, plus 3-4 weeknights per month.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional

procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

• Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
• Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
• Perform and / or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
• Perform set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education :

Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of

hire.

Additional Preferences

• 1 year med / surg experience with 1 year of ICU or ER experience preferred
• Due to On Call requirement, will need be able to arrive within 30 minutes of call
• ACLS and PALS preferred
