Salary : $27.72 - $39.60 per hour, depending on experience

Sign-On Bonus : $20,000

Schedule :

• Shift : 12-Hour Days and Nights (Rotating Weekends)
• Days Per Week : 3
• Total Hours Per Week : 36
• Shift Start Time : 07 : 00 AM or 07 : 00 PM
• Shift End Time : 07 : 00 PM or 07 : 00 AM

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Surg Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Med-Surg Oncology RN, you will play a crucial role in providing care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults within a patient-centered care model.

This full-time position requires strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to manage treatment plans autonomously, and a commitment to patient advocacy and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety, ensuring effective care and efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support to patients and their families throughout their stay.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience; acute care experience is strongly preferred, though LTAC experience will be considered.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
