DevOps Engineer

General Description :

We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Lead with a minimum of 8 years of experience, including 3-5 years specializing in infrastructure automation and virtualization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS design and solution architecture, as well as hands-on experience with Terraform.

As a key member of the team, you will design and develop Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to implement secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Design and develop Terraform modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and solutions.
• Implement and manage secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines for infrastructure integration and deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures to ensure clarity and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in cloud computing and infrastructure automation.

Must-Have Skills :

• 8+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and virtualization.
• Strong expertise in AWS design and solutions.
• Proficiency in Terraform, including writing and maintaining complex Terraform scripts and modules.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred).
• Hands-on experience building CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins using Groovy.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Bitbucket.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms.
• Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and working on large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of advanced security practices for infrastructure management.

Location : 100% Onsite in Jersey City, NJ.
