Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients in accordance with accepted standards and practices. The Core Laboratory Technical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of multidisciplinary sections of the laboratory.
Defined sections of the laboratory include : Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology (includes Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology).

Required qualifications :
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire or
- California Clinical Chemist Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Hematology Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License upon hire or
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License upon hire or
- Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire.
- 1-2 years' experience in an Acute Care Hospital environment
