Job Summary
- Indexing interviews using the OHMS system in accordance with the Nunn Center's standards and style guides.
- Conducting general research pertaining to interview contents in order to ensure the accuracy and spellings of mentioned names and entities, adding outside research and archival materials to oral history interviews, as well as participating in the research process, production, and implementation of Nunn Center outreach initiatives including social media, podcasts, radio programs, or other special projects and initiatives.
- Describing interviews / collections.
- Data entry.
- Participating in the archival collection inventory process.
- Digitization, editing, and preservation of audio and video.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Currently enrolled at the University of Kentucky.Strong writing skills, attention to details, editing skills, and ability to follow department procedures and policies.Able to work without close supervision and maintain a regular work schedule.Work Details
