Travel Physical Therapy Assistant Towson, MD (13 Weeks)
Position Overview : Connected Health Care is partnering with a premier client to offer a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant position in Towson, MD.
This is a fantastic 13-week assignment ideal for PTAs seeking a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Job Description :
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist with developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
- Perform evaluations and assessments of patients’ progress.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adapt therapy techniques based on patient needs and responses.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care.
Education & Certification Requirements :
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) licensure in Maryland.
- CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
