historians (PI, Phasor Archiver, Open PDC Historian), simulators and downstream applications. EPG has a strong customer base of leading ISOs and Utilities, including PJM, NYISO, ERCOT, SPP, CAISO, BPA, SCE, Duke, Dominion, AEP, Commonwealth Edison, and installations in the Middle East and India.
EPG develops advanced software applications for the power industry by leveraging the expert power system knowledge of our team and providing innovative cutting-edge solutions in an ever-evolving industry.
EPG’s solutions utilize power system knowledge base, and advanced analytics for solving power system operational problems and challenges related to situational awareness;
integration of renewables; managing and monitoring inverter based renewable resources (IBR); and mission critical control center operations.
This is accomplished by creating new technology and tools for real-time power system assessments such as PMU-based linear state estimation, power flow and contingency analysis, among many others.

Senior Power Systems Engineer
We are looking for an innovative, proactive professional with expertise in power system analysis, including power flow simulations, contingency analysis, and event analysis.
Key focus areas for this role include state estimation, linear state estimation, EMS applications, contingency analysis, and advanced data analytics.
Ideal candidates are experienced with EMS advanced applications, system modeling, real-time operations support for transmission and distribution systems, and control room technology including synchrophasor applications.

Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field and at least five years of experience in EMS supporting roles or utility experience using power flow and contingency analysis tools.
Applicants with a Master’s or PhD degree require a minimum of three years of experience.
