The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on an Associate, Compensation Administration to our Group Protection Commission Organization.

Background Details

As a Compensation Administration Associate, you will be a part of an experienced and dynamic team of 17 working in a fast-paced and fully Agile environment.

You will be responsible for managing a complex workload, which includes analyzing and researching data from multiple platforms, collaborating with internal and external customers to validate brokers’ compensation, and validating the accuracy of compensation setups.

You will help create the roadmap for how solutions will be created for our Broker Partners and their compensation payments for years to come.

What you'll be doing

  • Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality.
  • Researches, analyzes, and resolves compensation issues across multiple product lines and partnering business areas by investigating, gathering, and obtaining information from the appropriate departments and works towards problem resolution.
  • Processes inquiries from internal and external customers for assigned area that may include compensation reporting requests, case level compensation updates / changes, payment generation.
  • Compiles and conducts analysis on compensation payment data to determine necessary action or to provide trending updates to departmental management.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves :

  • 0-1+ Years experience in financial services that directly aligns to the responsibilities for this position.(Required)
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Nice-to-haves :

  • Ardis Experience
  • Compensation Administration / Reconciliation Experience
  • Financial Services Experience

The pay range for this position is $42,300 - $75,500 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law.

Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.

The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.

Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
