The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, parking lots and other community buildings to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
They will also assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Keep the property clean, inspect the property each morning and pick up any trash that litters the grounds
Prepare and maintain landscape daily (mow lawns, maintain flower beds, rake leaves, de-ice and shovel snow)
Clean pool and pool area as needed (hose down area, pick up trash and straighten chairs)
Assist with light maintenance duties as needed (replace light bulbs in common areas and breezeways, replace window screens, replace air filters, move appliances and painting)
Assist with apartment make-readies as requested (remove trash from vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detectors and replace parts)
Assure safety practices are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines
Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal laws
Regular, on-time attendance
Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment and tools
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry a plus
Follow oral and written instructions
Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers and management
Ability to climb up to 40 feet
Color vision and the ability to hear
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High school graduate or equivalent
Up to 1 year of prior grounds keeping experience
Inside and outside in all weather conditions
The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Denver Colorado is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
Bridge Investment Group is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

- 401K : Bridge Investment Group will contribute to your account equal to 100% of the first 4% of pay which you contribute to the plan.
These contributions belong 100% to the employee upon their contribution. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled contributing 4%, with up to 6% company match, with the option to opt out.
- The employee must be at least 21 years of age and have worked for the Company for at least 60 days.
- Paid Time Off : Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.
- 11 Paid Holidays per year.
- Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child.
Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
Tuition Reimbursement : Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation.
Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
