Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within healthcare facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Assessing patients' conditions and recording their medical histories
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and symptoms
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
  • Assisting with diagnostic tests and analyzing results
  • Documenting all patient care services provided
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
  • Participating in continuous education and training to maintain licensure and stay updated on best practices
  • Conducting patient discharge planning and follow-up care
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Proven clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient assessment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and ethical patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Adherence to professional standards, ethical codes, and legal regulations
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Continuous commitment to ongoing education and professional development
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
