Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Med / Surg
Location : Panama City, FL
Shift Type : Night
Shift Start Time : 7 : 00 PM
Shift End Time : 7 : 00 AM
Shifts Per Week : 3
Scheduled Hours : 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate : $27.00 to $39.00, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
In this role, you will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs based on individualized patient conditions.
- Administer treatments, medications, and procedures as per the physician's orders and healthcare protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement personalized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the course of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications :
- Current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure required. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years required (or within the last 5 years if the candidate has extensive RN experience).
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
- Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving / lifting of patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
