Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Shipping / Receiving Clerk in Melrose Park , IL . Candidates must have shipping / receiving / sit down forklift experience, with a solid work history.

This is a contract to hire opportunity, meaning you could get hired directly after 3-4 months, depending on your performance and attendance.

Shifts and pay : Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

$22 / hr.

Responsibilities :

Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.

Coordinate the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

Tracks, traces, and provide updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.

Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

Qualifications / Skills :

Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock

Receiving, stocking, and stacking

Pulling, packing, and loading

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong sense of time organization and urgency

Able to work independently and within a team

Requirements :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

2 4 Years Manufacturing Environment, Quick paced shipping.

Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date

Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
