About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : PACU - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 - 06 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Experience : 2 years of level 1 trauma and Telemetry experience required License : Pending license accepted Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical exemption.
Job Description : Position is for a PACU RN in an inpatient setting.- Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 2 in PACU and 1 : 3-5 when floating to the holding area.
- Night shift schedule with one overnight 8-hour on-call shift per schedule.- Must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs.
- Not open to accommodating block schedule; no locals within 75 miles.- Orientation modules are completed during the first week.
Any time spent on modules beyond 4 hours is non-billable.- Compliance document deadline is two Fridays before starting (10 days prior to start).
- Required to take an in-person MOAB certification course as part of orientation if not already certified.- Facility is a Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's Hospital.
- Travelers can work up to 12 consecutive months before needing to take a break between assignments.
