Job Description

The Product Manager for WorldStrides will support and lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering and evolving our Educational Group Travel Product roadmap.

This role converts the product strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed initiative, objectives, and features to enhance our offerings and gain market share.

The product manager will be creating product business requirements and definitions, managing the implementation and evolution of the product development cycle, and collaborating with various teams to bring new product features / capabilities to market.

The Product Manager anticipates / understands the needs of its target market and customers, anticipates changing demands in education and travel trends, and shapes business, product, and investment strategies.

A critical element is the development and continued maintenance of strong relationship with a variety of different organizations including but not limited to Product Team, Voice of Customer, Supply Chain, Business Analysts, UX, Sales / Commercial, and Go to Market.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Passion for Education : Genuine passion for education and a commitment to driving positive impact through innovative learning solutions.
  • Strategic, revenue minded, data driven and embrace a test-and-learn mindset
  • Experience applying hypothesis-driven development processes and driving user growth and engagement through experimentation, iteration, and learning
  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship development, and influencing skills
  • Product Management Experience : Proven track record 8-10 of consumer product experience, 4-7 years of ecommerce / direct-to-consumer experience
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with software development methodologies, UX / UI principles, and agile project management practices.
  • Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable product enhancements.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative Spirit : A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, with demonstrated experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability : Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Educational Background : Bachelor's degree (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus)
