About The Position

Registered Nurse Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate : 11 / 25 / 2024 Available Shifts : 12 D Pay Rate : $1845.10 - $2033.37
Progressive Care Nurse will take care of patients post CVA, acute MI, in respiratory distress, in Afib RVR, and in DKA. Nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 4-5 as this Step Down Unit has 6 beds that take cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem, insulin drips, and bipaps.
The other 18 beds are for telemetry and post CVA patients requiring closer monitoring than available on Med / Surg floors.
NIHSS is required. Floating to med / surg units required if census / staffing needs call for it. ICU experience also would allow floating to ICU.

2. BLS ACLS NIHSS
3. 100 mile radius
