Are you a clinician who is looking to make a difference in the lives of your patients? TeamHealth needs someone like you! We are seeking multiple dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) to join our healthcare team in Chicago.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for mental health care and providing comprehensive psychiatric services to patients in skilled nursing facilities.
The locations are in Sterling, Peru, and Mt. Carroll, IL. Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals and groups (as needed)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options

You will be a part of an integrated team with a primary care physician and nurse practitioner, and psychologist or LPC. To give you maximum flexibility and lifestyle options we designed our system with a scheduled presence model with a round and go set up- facility staffing is based on patient care needs, allowing clinicians to focus on patient relationships, outcomes, and facility needs.
