Location : Arlington Administration Headquarters
Schedule : Monday - Friday (8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Open up the front office each morning (turn on lights, phones, unlock the door)
- Answer and route incoming calls regarding donations, services, referrals, volunteering and employment opportunities, etc.
- Communicate Professionally, effectively, and in a timely manner, with management, peers, and sometimes clients
- Greet and assist visitors and employees and track attendance in the visitor log
- Receive, sort, distribute daily mail and packages
- Schedule package deliveries using UPS, Fed-Ex, or USPS
- Maintain and schedule calendaring for the training and conference rooms
- Maintain daily donation log in collaboration with the Finance and Development departments
- May need to run errands from time to time to pick up mail, packages or other items
- Responsible for keeping the front office clear of donations and misc. deliveries
- Keep copier areas clean and stocked with paper and office supplies
- Will provide additional support to Executive Leadership Team on an as-needed basis
- Participation in staff meetings, training meetings and another meeting as required
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Receptionist
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email and database operations
- Ability to communicate with staff and client inquiries, directing escalation issues to the appropriate departments
- Valid California Driver's license and vehicle with insurance at the time of hiring
- Individual must be flexible, dependable, highly organized, detail-oriented and can handle multiple projects at the same time
- High School Diploma or GED
- Spanish speaking preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- On occasion walk or drive to different agency sites to retrieve mail
- May / Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments depending on the position
- May need to bend, stoop, twist and sit throughout the day
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
