Job Summary :
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and enhance
our menu offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining, a
proven track record in menu development, and a genuine enthusiasm for elevating Mexican
cuisine. As Executive Chef, you will oversee both our Venice and West Adams locations,
managing a team of 30-40 staff members while actively engaging in kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Menu Development : Design and implement innovative dishes that reflect our culinary
philosophy and commitment to freshness and authenticity.
Team Management : Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and
positive work environment.
Operational Oversight : Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and
compliance with health and safety standards.
Quality Control : Maintain exceptional standards for food quality and presentation,
ensuring each dish meets our high expectations.
Inventory Management : Manage inventory levels, ordering, and storage of ingredients
to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Cost Control : Monitor food costs and labor budgets, developing strategies to maximize
profitability while maintaining quality.
Collaboration : Work closely with the front-of-house team to provide seamless service
and enhance guest satisfaction.
Culinary Education : Stay informed on culinary trends and techniques, sharing
knowledge with staff and incorporating new ideas into our offerings.
Creativity : Bring fresh, innovative concepts to menu development and dish
presentation.
Event Participation : Engage in special events and promotions to showcase Chulita’s
culinary talents and connect with our guests.
Qualifications + Experience :
Culinary degree from a recognized institution; advanced certifications are a plus.
Extensive experience in fine dining, with experience in a leadership role.
Proven success in menu development, supported by a portfolio of previous work.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best kitchen management practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating a diverse team.
Experience managing multiple locations is highly desirable.

Compensation :
Salary : $90,000 annually
