FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR

POSITION PROFILE

We're looking for an experienced Front Desk Supervisor with a passion for hospitality, delighting guests, and helping with operational efficiency.

In this role, the right candidate will assist in overseeing a variety of hotel operation departments, training and managing front desk agents, and keeping the front office tidy and always prepared to welcome and delight our guests.

THE TASK AT HAND :

  • Assist with managing all operational functions of the hotel.
  • Hold regularly scheduled meetings with staff.
  • Ensure full compliance of hotel operating controls, SOP's, styling guides, policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Assist with all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.
  • Handle complaints and oversee service recovery procedures.
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interests of the hotels and management.
  • Develop improvement actions and carry out cost savings.
  • Assist in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with managing third-party vendor relationships for essential equipment and services.
  • Train key staff members
  • Coordinating with staff for all activities and functions.
  • Help arrange the weekly staff schedule.
  • Assist as the hotel Leader on Duty in the absence of management.
  • Be accountable for responsibilities of staff and take ownership of guest complaints.
  • Provide effective leadership to team members.
  • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
  • Help with organization of housekeeping daily room assignments.
  • Conduct rooms inspections and audits.
  • Work front desk shifts as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
