Requirements
- Proficiencyin American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of deafculture.
- ABachelor s degree in ASL interpretation deaf education specialeducation or a relatedfield.
- Certificationas a sign language interpreter (e.g. RID certification) preferredbut not required. 3.5 EIPA or higherrequired.
