Onsite Videographer & Documentary Interviewer Miami Beach Studio (Part-Time to Full-Time)
Responsibilities
- Conduct and film interviews for a documentary series about entrepreneurs and their personal and professional experiences; deliver professional quality video and sound.
- As the media manager, organize and upload media according to simple protocols after interviews are completed.
- As the interviewer, help interview subjects tell their stories with confidence and clarity; you may be given an interview script and may coach subjects to clarify or improve their answers.
- Operate in-house gear; knowledge of how to use it is required.
- Set up a C-Cam in addition to A-Cam and B-Cam as needed.
- Refer to example episodes for reference. Examples include files at the links provided.
Qualifications
Experience conducting on-camera interviews.Experience setting up cameras, lighting, and filming in a professional studio environment.Experience with Sony FX3, FX6, FX30 or equivalent.Experience setting up lavalier mics and recording professional quality audio.Experience with media management.What the job entails
Pay Structure $150 flat rate per session (approximately 3 hours on-site filming plus 10-20 minutes of footage upload).Daily potential backlog may allow 2 sessions / day, 3 / day if desired but not required.Ramp-up period Month 1 lighter while bookings build; can grow to near full time in 2-4 months.Long-term path Opportunity to transition to salaried / retainer position with expanded responsibilities.In-Studio Location 1210 Washington Ave, Miami Beach must be able to reliably commute.
