JOB SUMMARY : Ã Â

The Medical Office Associate provides front office support to the clinical operations team, and works with a diverse patient population to ensure accuracy of patient intake, registration, payments, and scheduling.

Duties include, answering and screening telephone calls, scheduling appointments, entering patient charges, payments along with third party billing information and other pertinent information.

The priorities of the MOA position are patient registration, customer service and ensuring patient flow is optimal.Ã Â

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

High School graduate or equivalent required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :

• Six (6) months of customer service experience preferred
• à  6 months of customer service experience preferredà Â

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES : Ã Â

Basic computer skillsà Â

Excellent interpersonal skillsà Â

Ability to effectively interact courteously with a variety of staff and patientsà Â

Ability to solve problems, or seek assistance from supervisor when necessaryà Â

Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipmentà Â

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employeesà Â

Ability to lift 25 pounds Occasional kneeling, pushing / pulling, and reachingà Â
