Slim Chickens is actively seeking a Cashiers / Front of House Team Members for short shifts from 11am-1 : 30pm or / and 5-8pm to join the team at our Slim Chickens restaurant in Ankeny, IA! This position would be ideal for someone who has kids in school or who has another job and just wants to work a few hours on the weekend! If you have a desire to be part of a dynamic team and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!
Front of House : $15.00 to $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities of a Cashier / Front of House Team Member :
- Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
- Taking orders on the drive thru headset
- Taking orders on the point of sale in the lobby
- Interacting with all guests in a friendly manner
- Managing transactions using a cash register
- Balancing the cash register
- Accepting payments in cash, credit or check
- Providing change and receipts
- Filling drinks and making shakes
- Processing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints
- Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate
Cashier / Front of House Team Member Job Requirements :
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to effectively resolve complaints
- No restaurant experience is required; we will train you!
