Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.
We are seeking an experienced IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract in Ventura, CA. This role involves assisting in the IV room with compounding medications.
Both day and night shift positions are available.
Term of Assignment : ASAP 13 weeks
Schedule :
- Day Shift : Start times at 6 : 30 AM, 8 : 30 AM, or 9 : 30 AM (30-minute lunch break).
- Night Shift : Start times at 7 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 PM, 10-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off (30-minute lunch break).
Job Duties :
- Working in the IV room, compounding 30-40 medications daily.
- Overlapping shifts with another technician for support.
- Operating the Pyxis machine for medication management.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 6 months of IV compounding experience.
- Hospital experience preferred but not required.
- Must pass a glove test (results take 2 weeks; no IV room work during this period).
