Position Summary : The Mental Health Counselor under the direction of the R.N. is responsible and accountable for performing specific skills and duties which contribute to safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications : Educational Requirements : B.A. or B.S. in Psychology or Sociology or a bachelor’s degree in another discipline and relevant experience.
Experience Required : Previous Mental Health Counselor experience is desirable. Professional Licensure And Certification Required : BLS Interpersonal Relationships : Communicates effectively with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other employees.
Physical Requirements : Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position and its location.
