Overview :
Wellhart is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Ohio. This role involves a mix of OR and inpatient responsibilities.
Job Details :
- First-assist in surgeries (80-90% of work)
- Perform conduit harvesting using Maquet Vasoview Hemo Pro 2
- Manage inpatient rounding and consults (10-20% of work)
- Place arterial and venous lines
- Remove chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs
Requirements :
- Active Ohio PA license
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience
- Comfort with OR first-assist role
