Reno Staffing is looking for Production Operators at an Automotive Manufacturer in the Stead / North Valleys area!

Weekend Overnights for all of us night owls. Start this Thursday!

$100 CASH BONUS for PERFECT ATTENDANCE!

This is a temporary role with the opportunity for hire if candidates meet production and attendance needs for the client.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about an industry that is growing in their field of experience.

Shift : 6pm- 6am Friday, Saturday and Sunday and every other Thursday you will work an 8 or 10 hour shift

Pay : $18 / hr.

Location : Reno, NV 89506, Stead / North Valleys area

Summary :

The automotive production operator is a position that performs repetitive press operations to mass produce automotive components.

Must be able to hit established production goals for all jobs on a given press on a regular basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs duties as outlined in the driver work instructions
• Accurately record all production information on the production report as required
• Assist in line change activities as instructed
• Ensure quality of parts being produced, report all issues to supervisor immediately
• Maintain clean work area following 5S
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following all MIOSHA and company policies and procedures regarding safety and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be a lean thinker by helping develop and maintain standards in accordance with lean Manufacturing principles
• Must be able to process required paperwork
• Understand and follow all plant ISO 14001 & TS 16949 requirements
• Comply with safety regulations & maintain clean and orderly work areas (5S)

Competency :

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :

• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk, stand, & bend in a manufacturing setting for an entire shift.
• Must be able to use hands tools, power tools, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity.
• Must be able to visually decipher color.
• Must possess a High School Diploma / GED
• Must be able to work overtime as needed on weekends and same day, when available.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must be outgoing, willing to learn and able to adapt to all job duties as assigned while meeting production and quality requirements.

An updated resume with positive work history and drug test will be required upon offer. Does not test for THC.
