LHH is partnering with a non-profit organization in the downtown Seattle area to find a temporary to hire accounting professional for their team.
The main tasks for this Accounts Receivable Specialist will be posting payments, grant reporting, and updating accounts.
This position is a part-time commitment so if you are currently enrolled in an education program or if you have another commitment during the week, this could be a good fit for you if you are able to work around 20-24 hours in a week.
The manager is looking for someone who wants to learn and who is passionate about serving the community.
Main Tasks :
- Generate and send out invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries related to invoicing and payments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Prepare and review aging reports regularly to identify and manage delinquent accounts.
- Additional projects as requested.
Qualifications :
- At least six months of professional work experience in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities effectively.
