Job Title : Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location : South Hill, WA
Job Summary : We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in South Hill, WA.
The RBT will work directly with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior analysis interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
This role is crucial in supporting our clients development and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the BCBA.
- Collect data on clients' behaviors and progress to track effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to clients in various settings (home, school, munity).
- Assist with the development of social skills, munication, and daily living skills.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting positive behaviors.
- municate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress and challenges.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with data collection and behavior tracking methods.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors in a constructive manner.
Work Environment : This position will involve working in various environments, including homes, schools, and munity settings.
The RBT will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outes for clients.
