Criteria for success

  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with peers & decision makers
  • Demonstrate initiative when faced with limited guidance or ambiguous req uirements
  • Expert in modern web application technologies including TypeScript, React, NodeJS, etc.
  • Experienced deploying web applications via containerization
  • Proficient in building and integrating RESTful APIs and server-side logic

Req uired Experience and Skills

  • Five (5) years of minimum experience in a software focused engineering career (Software Engineer, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Two (2) years of minimum experience developing web applications with React
  • Two (2) years of minimum experience with back-end development using Node.js, including frameworks like Express.js or similar
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering discipline
  • Mastery of software configuration management using Git.
  • Experience with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.)

    • Desired Education and Experience

  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering discipline
  • Ten (10) years of experience developing web applications with modern web app libraries and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, etc).
  • Experience with React frameworks such as Next.js or React Router
  • Experience with database design, querying, and integration (e.g., ORM tools like Sequelize or Mongoose)
  • Experience following GitFlow and GitOps workflows using team repository (GitHub / Gitlab / etc.)
  • Demonstrable excellence in UI / UX
  • Expertise with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.)
