What You'll Contribute :
Oversee all payroll operations in a complex and fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Implement and optimize payroll systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from clients and internal teams.Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to payroll strategy and policy development.Mentor, coach, and develop your payroll team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, and client services teams to ensure seamless service delivery. What We're Looking For :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.Minimum 5 years of payroll management with multi-client, multi-EIN, and multi-state setting.Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.Deep expertise in payroll processes, compliance, tax requirements and regulations, including wage and hour laws.Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and advanced Excel functions.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required. Experience in a PEO or HR Shared Services environment is required Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
