Job Description

SoulCycle is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager who will contribute to the company growth by expertly and efficiently managing their studio and leading their studio team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the SoulCycle culture and brand. This person will be interpersonally savvy with strong organizational abilities, a customer focus and will be able to creatively problem solve and learn on the fly. This person embodies integrity, confidence, is a role model, is bold, and is responsible for the success and health of the studio’s daily operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interpersonal Savvy : Foster the SoulCycle Community and Culture in your studio; set the weather so your team loves to come to work; build relationships with instructors and the local community; proactively identify and address conflicts; acknowledge wins and show gratitude; embrace and manage change.
  • Customer Focus : Provide in‑moment support to ensure all rider requests are addressed; be a hospitality champion delivering exceptional hospitality to riders and staff; confidently manage conflict in high‑pressure situations; develop meaningful relationships with riders.
  • Process Management : Be an expert on studio procedures and corporate policies; integrate new ways of working and processes; develop and maintain schedules to ensure all operations are completed; demonstrate a solution‑oriented mindset and execute to company standards.
  • Organizing & Planning : Set priorities to meet deadlines; develop operational checklists and schedules; plan for projects with future orientation; manage your own schedule and meet business‑critical deadlines; support the Studio Manager in business plans to exceed ridership and retail goals; oversee company‑wide initiatives; devise a holistic retail sales plan and grow retail business.

Qualifications

  • Superior customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication with team members, clients, and management.
  • Ability to work flexible / non‑traditional hours, including weekends; availability for peak holiday shifts.
  • Personal passion for fitness and / or the SoulCycle brand.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Pay Transparency : $25–$29 / hour.
