Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models. Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems (ProShop ERP experience a plus). CAD / CAM or CNC programming experience preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Coastal Machine & Supply is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our precision machining team. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with a strong manufacturing background who can take ownership of finalizing work orders and creating manufacturing plans that drive efficiency, precision, and on-time delivery.
What You'll Do
- Finalize work orders and manufacturing plans for CNC machining operations.
- Define machining operations, assign work to machines, and determine tooling / inspection requirements.
- Collaborate with programming, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
- Assist with CNC programming and creation of internal shop drawings.
- Optimize scheduling and resource utilization to meet customer deadlines.
