About The Position
Job Title : Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 hours, 07 : 00 PM to 07 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License : Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications : - Basic Life Support- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have : ACLS Certification Job Description : Provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Manage high-risk obstetric patients and handle emergency situations with efficiency and confidence.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide patient-centered care.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.- Stay up-to-date with best practices and protocols in maternal child health.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
- Preferred : Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience.
High-risk labor and delivery experience is highly desired.
