Base pay range

$40.00 / hr - $55.00 / hr

Job Title : ECAD Librarian / PCB Designer

Job Location : Remote - NC

Onsite Requirements :

  • Mentor Graphics Xpedition Experience
  • Library Management Expertise
  • Active Security Clearance

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you\'ll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.
  • We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences :
  • A minimum of two years\' experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Experience with library management practices.
  • Experience with ECAD / PCB layout design processes.

    • What sets you apart :

  • Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx), or Altium
  • Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
  • Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
  • Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
  • In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
  • Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.
  • Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)
