Job Summary

As a Catering Manager for a premier corporate client, you will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of catered events.

This position ensures success from the planning stages through execution of the event and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.

Organization, innovation and operational excellence are all required in this role, in addition to unreasonable hospitality.

This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule, primarily daytime hours (hours generally range between 6am-4pm);

occasional evenings and 2 weekends per year.

Key Responsibilities :

Strong catering and hospitality experience

Understanding of planning and executing events from start to finish

Ability to create events and proposals per client requests

Experience with and understanding of various types of Corporate Events - i.e. All Day Conferences, VIP Meetings, Receptions, Dinners etc

Ability to multi-task between numerous projects simultaneously, while remaining extremely organized and calm in a fast-paced, fluctuating environment

Skills :

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet Research

High level organizational

Be self-sufficient, able to work autonomously, and on-the-go from cell phone (whenever necessary)

Outgoing, professional and willingness to adapt to constant changes

Desire to continue career in hospitality, interest in contributing new ideas to improve department overall
