Salary Range : 85,000.00 To 95,000.00 (USD) Annually
Position Summary :
Gastroenterology of the Rockies is a rapidly growing Gastroenterology practice in Boulder County and the greater Denver Metro area with eight office locations and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of three busy gastroenterology practices.
The Clinic Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our practices run efficiently, provides high-quality care to patients, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage clinical and administrative staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training. (Excluding Providers).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines.
- Develop and manage the practice's budget, including monitoring expenses and making recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor and maintain the practice's facilities and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order and that repairs, and maintenance are carried out promptly.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that the practice is providing the highest possible level of care to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that the practice is providing the best possible care to patients.
- Ensure that the practice provides excellent customer service, including monitoring patient satisfaction, addressing patient complaints, and making improvements as needed.
- Monitor and analyze practice performance data and develop strategies to improve practice efficiency and productivity.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing a clinical practice, preferably in a gastroenterology or specialty practice setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Must have the ability to walk short distances.
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures;
transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
